RAT RACE REBELLION
From
its inception Staffcentrix has designed solutions to
meet the growing public demand for home-based jobs, projects and
businesses. We
realized that many career-development professionals, too, wished to
learn more
about the spreading virtual-work movement.
At the same time, we saw that many job seekers were falling
victim to deceptive work-at-home job leads and
“opportunities.”
Accordingly, in 2004 we began to publish the Rat Race
Rebellion Telework Bulletin. The Bulletin, which continues to be edited
by
Staffcentrix co-founder Michael Haaren, contains screened home-based
jobs and
projects, as well as related news, interviews, book reviews, and other
coverage
of telework and associated trends.
In response to the Bulletin’s growing popularity,
Staffcentrix launched a website in 2007 – www.RatRaceRebellion.com
– which expanded upon the Bulletin’s mission and
resources.
Free to the public and advertiser-supported, www.RatRaceRebellion.com
features
hundreds of screened employers of home-based workers, and thousands of
screened
jobs and projects. Staffcentrix researchers sift through 4,500-5,000
work-at-home job leads weekly to find the legitimate positions that are
posted
to the site.
Under steady
expansion, the site also includes “scam
alerts,” a blog, and other resources related to virtual work,
work/life
balance, green lifestyle options, etc.
